These Terms & Conditions govern your use of dietetic services provided by Rhiannon Bullen ("I", "me", "my"), a Registered Dietitian regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC registration number: DT033176).

By booking an appointment, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About My Services

I provide private dietetic consultations to support clients with healthy eating, weight management, dietary management of chronic conditions and gastrointestinal symptoms. All appointments are conducted online via video call.

My services are advisory in nature and do not replace medical diagnosis or treatment from a doctor or other qualified healthcare professional. See Section 6 (Medical Disclaimer) below.

2. Bookings and Appointments

• All appointments are booked and conducted via my practice management system, Cliniko, using its built-in Telehealth video call feature.

• You will need a stable internet connection, a device with video/audio capability, and a private space for the duration of your appointment.

• It is your responsibility to join the appointment on time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, I reserve the right to treat the appointment as a late cancellation (see Section 4).

3. Fees and Payment

• Current fees are listed on my website and are subject to change with reasonable notice.

• An invoice is issued at the time of booking. Payment must be received before your appointment takes place.

• I reserve the right to decline to proceed with an appointment if payment has not been received by the time it is due to start.

• I reserve the right to charge interest or suspend future appointments on overdue invoices.

4. Cancellation Policy

I understand that plans can change. My cancellation policy is as follows:

• 48 hours' notice or more: Free cancellation, no charge. If you have already paid, a full refund will be issued.

• Less than 48 hours' notice, or non-attendance: The full appointment fee is payable, whether or not you had already paid your invoice at the time of cancellation.

To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact me via Cliniko or at rhiannonbullen@outlook.com as soon as possible.

5. Scope of Practice

I provide first-line, evidence-based dietary advice. Where your needs fall outside my scope of practice, including where symptoms require further medical investigation, I will signpost you to your GP or an appropriate specialist. I do not diagnose medical conditions.

If you are currently under the care of a GP, consultant, or other healthcare professional (including for a condition being managed with medication), you should continue to follow their advice alongside any dietary guidance I provide, and inform them of any significant dietary changes where relevant.

6. Medical Disclaimer

The advice I provide is intended to support, not replace, care from your GP or other medical professionals. I am not able to prescribe, alter, or advise you to stop taking any medication — decisions about medication remain with your prescribing clinician. If you have a medical emergency, please contact emergency services or your GP immediately; this service is not appropriate for urgent or emergency care.

7. Client Responsibilities

To help me provide safe and effective advice, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your medical history, current medications, and health status.

• Inform me of any changes to your health or medication during our time working together.

• Seek appropriate medical advice for any symptoms that may require urgent attention.

8. Confidentiality

I treat all information shared with me as confidential, in line with my professional obligations as an HCPC-registered Dietitian and under UK data protection law. See my Privacy Policy for full details of how your data is handled.

Confidentiality may only be breached where I have a legal or professional obligation to do so — for example, where there is a risk of serious harm to you or others.

9. Professional Standards

I practise in accordance with the HCPC Standards of Proficiency and the British Dietetic Association's Code of Professional Conduct. I hold professional indemnity insurance through the British Dietetic Association.

10. Liability

While I take all reasonable care in providing my services, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results, as these depend on a range of individual factors outside my control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I accept no liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of my services.

11. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of my service, please contact me directly via Cliniko or at rhiannonbullen@outlook.com so I can address your concerns. If a complaint cannot be resolved directly, you may escalate it to the HCPC or British Dietetic Association, details of which will be provided on request.

12. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this website.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
